These past few weeks I have been preparing my studio for the Santa Cruz County Open Studios event in October. I have hung work high, I have hung work low. I have built display stands, printed cards, and rearranged my work space. Is it worth it? I hope so. What are the advantages of an Open Studio? I haven't done one in 12 years! Banking on my good studio location, (and I don't use the term "banking" lightly), I hope to sell some original paintings, sell cards, make contacts for future shows or sales. Get people interested in my work. My question will be answered in the next few weeks. I'll tell you the results when I know.
