So you want to make noise

Wondering how to get involved? Here are some ways you can participate in the online community. Innovate at your own risk.

Groups: Check out the Groups section. It's in the nifty dashboard you get when you sign up. Join the groups that describe what you do. This way, you can make friends with other interior designers--or, better still, people who want to hire interior designers. Groups are a great place to get in on the discussion.

Blogs: If you feel more committed, venture into the Member Blogs category. You can use your member dashboard to get there, too. Read about what other designers are up to and feel free to leave comments. They don't bite. Usually.

Hashtags: What's up with the pound-sign-word-thing? #scdic is our hashtag. If you publish content related to the SCD+IC on a social media site, like Flickr or Twitter, tag it with #scdic. (Don't forget the pound!) That way we can track the conversation. Also, you know those shiny buttons on the right side of the pages? That's our internet presence. Click on 'em, and you can see what else we've been up to. Feel free to contribute a little yourself.
